There are a few major differences between a digipak and a CD case. Another advantage with the Digipak is that it can be made from recycled card and to produce the pack uses much less plastic, therefore reducing your carbon footprint allowing you to have an exclusive yet eco-friendly product and possibly cheaper to produce.Where as CD case is fairly different, the CD is a lot more secure and has a very firm grip. So wherever you place the CD case the position of it will remain the exact same. CDs are easier to be massed produced, and can therefore sometimes be cheaper than digipaks. Most Jewel CD cases ar designed to carry a booklet, as well as to have panel inserts. The back of the album is rather intense and vibrant because of the colours used. The back cover includes the bar code. The record label which Selena is signed to has been shown. This advertises the record label since many popular artists are signed to Hollywood Records.

The two colours used are a combination of black and white. The two colours signify more of the genre of her music which is pop as well as contemporary RnB.
